This IG report is nothing short of a smear. The Democrats will jump all over it, though. I guess we will see them use this to justify cutting and running. It will provide just enough cover for them to try.

After the CIA managed to miss the Soviet reaction to the 1983 Able Archer exercise, miss the end of the Cold War, miss Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, miss the WTC bombing in 1993, miss the Khobar Towers bombing in 1996, miss the embassy bombings in 1998, target the Chinese embassy in Belgrade in 1999, miss the attack on the USS Cole in 2000, and miss 9/11, any CIA report that said "no links between al-Qaeda and Iraq" should have been considered ironclad proof of said links.
