While the MSM will be discussing the failure of the Iraqi government to meet any targets, what will be studiously ignored in newsrooms is the successes coming from the surge, particularly as Sunnis turn against al-Qaeda.
Now, we do need to adjust for the failure of the Iraqi government, but that will probably be handled in a July 15 no-confidence vote.
It is not 100% success - nothing in war ever is. But it is far from a failure.
