Harold,
I thought you might find it interesting that CNN is trumpeting the news of 14,000 Iraqis killed in Iraq as a sign of U.S. defeat http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/07/18/iraq.main/index.html

and yet they never mention how many people died per year under Saddam, which was reported by a number of reliable outlets to be far more than the yearly casualties of the current war and what's even more disgusting about this coverage is that CNN was the channel of choice for the former regime (Eason Jordan) and just released Iraq documents show that Saddam's top officials ORDERED their underlings to give CNN preferential treatment in covering these stories....aka let CNN cover it up for them. http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/archives/007526.php

Apparently, CNN is still committed to fighting the media war on behalf of America's enemies.

Utterly repulsive.
